Ukulele Kids Club Welcomes Stacie Weisbrot to Board of Directors
New York, NY — May 7th 2026
The Ukulele Kids Club is proud to announce the appointment of Stacie Weisbrot to its Board of Directors.
Stacie joins the board following several months of active involvement with the organization through the UKC Broadway Event Committee, where she played an instrumental role in supporting the nonprofit’s mission to bring the healing power of music to children in hospitals and healthcare facilities around the world.
During her time volunteering with UKC, Stacie helped secure donations for the organization and cultivated additional in-kind sponsorship support for UKC’s growing Broadway initiatives. Through her own philanthropic initiative, Celeb Status Kids, she also coordinates “Comfort Crates,” personalized care packages filled with items of encouragement, comfort, and support for pediatric patients and families. These crates have already begun reaching several UKC partner hospitals as part of the organization’s Broadway Initiative, helping deepen the impact of music, creativity, and community care within pediatric healthcare spaces.
Stacie also launched The Kind Mind in January 2026, which combines expert curriculum, educational programming and theatre-centered special events for students, to enhance youth connection, communication, creativity and mental wellbeing through the transformative power of theatre.
In addition to her nonprofit work, Stacie is an active theatre producer on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and the West End through her company, Second Set, a live music and theatre production company, combining her passion for the performing arts, community engagement, and philanthropy.
Her passion for the arts, collaborative spirit, and dedication to supporting children and families made her a natural fit for board leadership.
“From the moment Stacie became involved with UKC, it was clear that she deeply understood both our mission and the importance of building meaningful community through the healing power of music,” said Marlén Rodríguez Wolfe, Board Chair of Ukulele Kids Club. “She brings an effortless kindness, energy, compassion, and commitment to our organization, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the Board of Directors as we continue expanding our impact for medically fragile children and families worldwide.”
Weisbrot expressed enthusiasm about joining the organization at a time of continued growth and impact.
“I’m honored to join the board of Ukulele Kids Club and support an organization that so beautifully combines music and healing for children facing health challenges,” said Stacie Weisbrot. “Through both UKC and Celeb Status Kids, I’ve seen how small moments of comfort, creativity, and care can make an enormous difference for children and families navigating difficult medical experiences. I’m excited to help further UKC’s mission and continue building partnerships that bring joy, support, and healing to kids in hospitals.”
Ukulele Kids Club donates ukuleles and provides online support to medically fragile children through partnerships with over 400 music therapy and pediatric healthcare programs around the world, helping young patients experience comfort, self-expression, and moments of joy during challenging medical journeys. To date, UKC has impacted close to 18,000 children with a ukulele of their own, with the goal of doubling that figure in the next five years.
