UKC Academy | Cali Rose

About this event

Join Cali as she reviews the fundamentals of fingerpicking! This class will explore various thumb and fingerpicking patterns, play them with different songs, and explore playing modified chord melodies.

About the teacher

Cali is a full-time performer, award-winning songwriter and recording artist, and ukulele teacher. She currently teaches several ukulele classes, private students, and is the head of The CC Strummers, a ukulele group based in Culver City, California. Cali's CD, "Are You Having Any Fun?" features her ukulele picking and was nominated for Best Adult Contemporary Album in the Hawaii Music Awards. Her most recent ukulele CD, "Smile, Smile, Smile," showcases her catchy, feel good original songs.
