SNHUGFEST 2020 features music by local celebrities, vendors, food, raffles and fun!
The Southern New Hampshire Ukulele Group is holding their 5th annual SNHUGFEST on Saturday, August 29th, at Henry Law Park in Dover NH. This free, all-day festival features ukulele performances by bands from far and wide, including first-place finishers at the recent Battle of the Ukulele Bands – The Unlikely Strummers. All events rain or shine. Admittance is free.
Performances are at the River Stage on the South Lawn of Henry Law Park. Everyone should bring a picnic lunch, blanket, and come enjoy the day! Current social distancing guidelines must be practiced to ensure the safety of all. Wear your face masks when appropriate and remember the six-foot rule!
SNHUG hosts many fundraising events for worthy causes, such as the Ukulele Kids Club. The UKC provides music therapy for kids during hospital stays. All of the proceeds from SNHUGFEST 2020 go to support the Ukulele Kids Club. Stay tuned for further details on how you can win a prize!
SNHUG is an all-volunteer, non-profit group of ukulele enthusiasts, that meets twice-a-month to jam, practice, do open mics, and generally have fun. They're open to any and all levels of ability, and can be found on Facebook or Meetup.com.
