About this event In this crash course collection of workshops you will go from a complete beginner to strumming and picking a song on your ukulele. We will learn basic chords, strumming and fingerpicking patterns, and even some melody playing. If you’ve always wondered where to start your ukulele journey, or if you are looking for a refresher on the foundations, look no further. Classes are held Fridays at 7pm EST starting September 24th and running through October 29th. All classes will be recorded and sent to registrants so do not worry if you cannot attend every class live in person. *While this course, like all of our UKC Academy classes, is being offered free of charge, please consider a contribution to help support the donation of ukuleles to hospitalized children as well as the new UKC At Home program, providing ukulele resources and music therapy groups to patients once they are discharged home from the hospital.
