RockStar

As a UKC RockStar, you know exactly what your gift is helping accomplish. Your contribution is dedicated to purchasing and shipping the ukuleles to your chosen hospital or program, helping ensure that children can continue their music journey beyond the hospital with a uke of their own.

The initial RockStar contribution is $500, which provides 10 ukuleles for your chosen UKC affiliate program.

Every program has different needs. Some may need more than 10 ukuleles in a given year, while others may need fewer. If your RockStar contribution does not fully cover your chosen program’s needs, UKC will provide additional instruments as they become available through general donations.

You can contribute as much as you’d like. For example:

• $500 = 10 ukuleles
• $1,000 = 20 ukuleles
• $1,500 = 30 ukuleles

Our goal is to match each affiliate program with a dedicated RockStar (or two) who can help ensure that kids never have to wait to get the ukes they need.

There’s no expiration date for being a UKC RockStar, and no obligation to make additional donations beyond your initial one. Our hope is that you’ll build a lasting connection with your chosen hospital and continue supporting its needs for years to come or as you are able.

Once you become a RockStar, UKC will deliver the ukuleles directly to your selected hospital within 1–2 weeks of your donation. Whenever possible, we’ll share updates about your contributions and the difference they’re making for hospitalized children.

When your hospital has distributed all of its ukuleles and requests more, we’ll reach out to give you the opportunity to sponsor the next batch and continue your impact. If you are unable to, we will reach out to the next RockStar in line, or place them on our general donation wait list.

Have a favorite hospital that isn’t part of our network yet? No problem! Let us know which hospital you’d like to support. We’ll contact them to determine their eligibility and, if they qualify, work with them to join the UKC program and open up this new progam.
