Slide Ukulele: A New Way to Play with Don Hicks
Did you know that there's more than one way to play ukulele? This class will demonstrate a very different way to play that you may find quite easy and enjoyable! You won't need to hold chord positions with your fingers- you can just hold your ukulele on your lap and play it like a lap steel or dobro. You can also hold it upright play it slide guitar style.
We will cover beginning techniques, try out different types of household items that could be used for slides, and discuss new ways to approach your ukulele from very different perspective.
